Also the first place I found the classic Atmosphere logo t-shirt around the same time. Crazy how much has changed in Colorado in the past 17 years. Just realized the hidden track is missing from the remaster, but loving the added tracks from the original recordings. “Even if your DJ was Jesus you could never fuck with these kids.” Favorite track: Pea King.

20 years ago, while building a buzz on the Twin Cities scene playing countless local shows, recording demos and endless freestyle sessions, Atmosphere released a milestone record that set the trajectory for a career that is still evolving and pushing forward to this day.

For this special 20-year anniversary edition, all the original recording sessions were transferred from the reel-to-reel tapes and mixed by Joe Mabbot, long-time engineer for Atmosphere, dating back to God Loves Ugly. Includes three previously unreleased songs from the original reel-to-reel tapes!
